Chow Down! July 22
Ready to get your Chow on?!
Our annual Chow Down fundraiser is almost here and we are as excited as ever! It’s a fantastic way to support local businesses in Columbia City and to highlight the many great restaurants in the area. So how does Chow Down work?
STEP 1: You buy a “passport” at RVFB.org (stayed tuned… tickets will go live within the next couple of weeks!)
STEP 2: Bring your passport to one of 16 participating restaurants in fabulous, Columbia City.
STEP 3: Get your passport stamped in exchange for a signature “bite” of delectable, cultural deliciousness.
SIT. EAT. REPEAT!
The bites include items like sample of Hummingbird Saloon’s famous soup and pie to a flight of beers and warm cashews from Lottie’s Lounge. It’s a great way to showcase all the wonderful eateries in Columbia city, amongst “Bike-riding, Berkeley-style globalistas”, as described by Seattle Magazine.
100% percent of the sales of the passports go to support Rainier Valley Food Bank. For us, the evening is all about sharing good eats & good company, all the while providing healthy food for your hungry neighbors.
