Seattle is known as the center for aviation. Lucky for us, we have a museum for plane and their history on Marginal Way. The museum offers free admission every first Thursday of the month from 5:00-9:00 PM. Explore the exhibits to learn about Boeing's history and, of course, aircraft.

Summers in Seattle can reach peak temperatures. On those hot days, it's always a good idea to cool down and relax. One way to do that is swimming at Rainier Beach Pool. The pool has a nice facility and a waterslide; it's a great place to bring kids.

Farmers Market in Columbia City

Join the Food Fight
There is still time to participate in this year's Food Fight fundraiser at Rainier Valley Food Bank. Dine at any of the participating restaurants, and leave a donation for the food bank to help end hunger in our community. This fundraiser runs throughout July.
