Giving Big with GiveBig

We love it each May when GiveBig comes around! This two-day giving event demonstrates the generosity of our community as individuals empower their favorite nonprofit organizations with donations. We are thrilled and grateful that so many people chose to support RVFB over the last few weeks. 

This year, GiveBig provided an opportunity to support our annual operating budget, providing the means for us to nourish our community with healthy food and offer wraparound food security support. Throughout the last month, we received 209 donations, helping us unlock our match and raise $57,997! 

GiveBig reminds us that every donation, from $5 to $500, provides our community with access to fresh, healthy food for anyone who may need it. 

We know that all in our RVFB community are affected by inflation, supply chain shortages, and the ongoing COVD-19 concerns. Even through times of hardship, we are grateful that our community has always been our guidepost and a strong ally, offering input and fueling our work with generous donations. While GiveBig may be over, the opportunities to invest in our community are limitless — join our Feeding Families 5K this month, lend a hand volunteering, or make a donation.
