Join the 2015 Urban Agriculture Bike Tour!

Summer in Seattle is the most magical time of the year.

At RVFB, we love summer because it is the time of year when local gardens and farms donate crates upon crates of beautiful organic vegetables for us to distribute to our hungry neighbors. People always ask us where our food comes from, and this summer we have two dates dedicated to showing a couple of those sources!

Join us on an Urban Agriculture Bike tour with Bike Works to some of the most beautiful spaces in South Seattle. On July 18th and August 22nd we will tour p-patches, community gardens, urban farms, and the place where food meets the people who need it most: Rainier Valley Food Bank! On both dates we will meet at Bike Works at 3:00pm, and conclude the tour at the ending location around 6:00pm with some farm fresh veggies and tasty food. If you cannot attend the tour on either date, we would still love to see you for the post-tour meal. We will be biking 5-7 miles at a leisurely pace, all cyclists ages 12-18 are more than welcome with a guardian.

Space for the tour is limited, so reserve your spot today! Email Lili Fischer lili@rvfb.org to register, receive more information, or materials to promote it to folks you think would be interested in enjoying some summer magic!
